Fatima Doman is a gifted teacher. She describes simple, effective ways that we can all find a sense of peace and a feeling of control in our individual lives in this television interview with KSL. Fatima emphasizes that balance is the key, paying special attention to 4 areas which she calls: Mind, Body, Heart and Soul. I love that. Fatima is an executive coach with Franklin Covey with years of experience, and has traveled far and wide teaching.
I know how easy it is for me to find myself off-balance, and that it truly takes conscious intention and focus to stay balanced. Her interview was so helpful to me: to the point and very practical. I am excited to apply her sensible suggestions. She also shares brilliant "Power Questions" that we can ask ourselves, which will help us reevaluate where each of us are now in our lives. The questions are a wonderful prompt to encourage us to make new choices as we hope for more balance in our personal day to day life. I loved watching her interview, and reading her excellent "Power Questions". I printed them up and I'm going to ask myself those questions!
I love the scripture in Luke 2:52 that says Christ grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man. I have used that scripture as a guide for many years to attempt (attempt is the operative word) to balance my life in the four areas mentioned in that scripture, which makes me appreciate Fatima's approach even more, as she uses modern day terms, analogies and ideas to help me actually APPLY effective tools to stay balanced. She is an amazing woman. She gives me hope that I can learn new things and feel positive changes in my life.
I'm grateful to know Fatima and observe and learn from such a gracious, lovely example of balance.
