Dr. Martin Seligman wrote "Learned Optimism", and "Authentic Happiness". He is the Director of the Positive Psychology Center at the University of Pennsylvania. My friend, Fatima, just told me about them because she has learned so much from his books. I really think I've found something wonderful through her.
She is one of the happiest people I know, so it surprised me to learn that she has worked hard at becoming so optimistic, happy, and overcoming anxieties. She told me about these books and said they have changed her life. She is a working mother with a demanding job that requires her to travel, yet she always seems grounded, calm and happy.
